The Celebration Pictures
Page 1I hadn't decided how to arrange the pictures that would be coming to me in response to my request for people to send me pictures to celebrate my fiftieth birthday. As the pictures began to arrive, I decided the best way to present them was in their order of arrival, without trying to group like shots or gather together those shots sent from participants in the same message boards.
I am very pleased at the response to the request! These are some wonderful shots, taken by some wonderful people. Stay tuned---there are more pictures due to arrive.

The very first celebration picture to arrive on my birthday was of this foursome of Usual Suspects, all of whom live in Oregon. Harmony and her husband, Topher were the hosts for the gathering.
MizB sent this shot of a suncatcher. She notes, "Lights flash off it like the candle flames on your birthday cake."
Rick sent this picture, of which he says, "This is Nick's in Schenectady on Broadway. Home of the giant hot dog man pouring ketchup over its head and the giant french fries man."
Nance sent this one, a picture of her son, Trey.
